On January 28th, 2023, 2 of the members went to CRV Recycling to recycle the recyclables they collected earlier in the morning. Members got one basket for bottles, one basket for aluminum cans, and one for glass bottles. They sorted through the 2 bags of recyclables patiently, putting each bottle/can in their respective basket. For bottles, before putting the bottles in the basket, members would remove the bottle cap, and then put the bottle in the basket, along with the bottle cap. Members repeated this process until all recyclables were put in one of the three baskets. Members earned a total of $15.14 from their visit and will continue to collect bottles/cans to recycle.
