On December 4th, 2022, members Jessica Lu and KaiXi (Cathy) Liu went to go collect recyclables at their local neighborhood. Members went to knock on the usual houses and despite the absence of many homeowners, the ones that did respond had several bags of bottles/cans waiting for them. Members appreciated the thoughtfulness of the homeowners for setting aside all their recyclables. It was getting dark so members finished up the last house and put all the bags of recyclables into bigger trash bags. They also got some encouragement from the homeowners! In total, members collected 1 ½ bags of recyclables and ended the day with lots of smiles.
