On November 20th, 2022, members Hsin Chen (Julie) Lu and Jessica Lu went to their local neighborhood to collect bottles/cans.
Members had made flyers that they were going to give to the homeowners showing their recent visit to the animal shelter and their donations. Since their recent visit to the animal shelter and seeing all those animals, members were more determined to collect as many recyclables as possible to raise money to help all those animals. Because most people went on vacation due to Thanksgiving, members had few responses at the door today. But the ones that did respond had a plentiful amount of bottles/cans for them. Members collected a bag of recyclables today and will come back soon!
