Description of the Delaware Branch

We, students from Delaware, plan to establish a volunteer organization to support the Delaware area under AYLUS for the purpose of sparking the idea of service within our community. There unfortunately aren’t many student-led youth groups in Delaware, and so we would like to contribute what we can to the lack of youth groups in our area, and inspire fellow adolescents to give to their community. The ways we’d like to give to the community include aiding the elderly, leading other students, and helping those in need (such as those in poverty.) Our chapter will plan service projects based on what our area needs. After exploring the issues around us, we will search for solutions to the problems we can solve. Once a solution is chosen, a project around that solution is born, and we will plan the location and time scheduling of the project. Our hope is that others around us will see our actions, and realize the work they can do together.
