On July 28nd, 2022, 6 students (Bradley Fang, David Cheng, Connor Jiang, Jeffrey Yam, Natalie Yam, and William Yehe-Nara) and parents (Amy Zhao and more ) played songs for a local preschool.
Today’s performance was very successful. The preschool children all sang and clapped with us, and some even danced along to the music. The children wanted us to stay and had us play the songs they liked a few more times, and let us introduce each instrument. We enjoyed it very much. We talked with the principal, and have already planned another event in the future with them.
Thank you very much to every member of our band, who rehearsed a lot, performed in the sun, and didn’t complain at all about being tired or hot. I am proud of you all. Also, very grateful to parents of the performers for their unwavering support, sending here and there, printing flyers, and more. The show would not have been successful without your help.
