From June 24th through June 26th, the AYLUS Bridgewater Branch hosted its third charity sale.
However, this time it wasn’t just us! On different days we collaborated with the Gladstone and Basking Ridge branches in order to bring more items, more customs, and more manpower.
In total, we raised 444 dollars over the span of 3 days.
Not only did volunteers learn to advertise individual items online, we also headed to various places to collect donations and met various kind individuals along the way.
One kind man brought his pickup truck filled with furniture with us so we wouldn’t have to make several trips.
The mailman saw we were doing good things and pitched in with his own donation.
Overall, the charity sale was very successful and was a rewarding experience for all those involved.
The money will go to local charities.(More on this later!)
