On December 31, 2021, the Irvine branch of AYLUS hosted a seasonal, end-of-year toy and clothing drive, collecting such items in a cumulative effort to end the year giving back to our community and serving those in need.
Before the event, we went around the community and passed out flyers to households and neighbors, advocating for the event.
A variety of volunteers and neighbors attended and donated bags of toys and clothes, which we have sent to local Goodwill Donation Centers. We hope that our proceeds will be able to assist those in need throughout this cold winter, while giving them hope and cheer to celebrate the holiday season. It was doubly a great experience and event for all involved!
