AYLUS Bellaire volunteered at Nature Discovery Center on December 19, 2021

The AYLUS of Bellaire returned to the Nature Discovery Center in Bellaire, Texas on Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Volunteers first filled holes in the parking lot with the leftover decomposed granite from the last time AYLUS volunteered at the Nature Discovery Center. Volunteers then weeded a flower bed and filled it with soil. Finally, volunteers moved logs along the trails and got rid of excess branches.

The following volunteers attended this event (2 hours): Andrew Liu, Daniel Chan, Justin Du, Clarissa Li, Jason Deng, Zachary Xiao, Joseph Zhou, Andrew Huang, and Alexander Tang.

Overall, the event was a successful return to the Nature Discovery Center, and we at AYLUS look forward to future volunteer opportunities at the Nature Discovery Center.
