Palos Verdes Peninsula Branch’s First Volunteering Event on December 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 11th, 2021

On December 4th and December 11th of 2021, several members of the Palos Verdes Peninsula AYLUS branch gathered together to celebrate and carry out their first volunteering session! Gathered at Palos Verdes High School, the branch members collectively helped paint as well as restore the benches where many PVHS students use during snack and lunchtime. In total, over 15 benches were successfully restored.

Hours for each member:

  1. Angel Shen: 29 hours total (4 hours contacting, 4 hours purchasing supplies on 12/2; 5 hours contacting on 12/3; 4 hours bringing supplies, 4 hours painting on 12/4; 4 hours bringing supplies, 4 hours painting on 12/11)
  2. Sean Sun: 29 hours total (4 hours contacting, 4 hours purchasing supplies on 12/2; 5 hours contacting on 12/3; 4 hours bringing supplies, 4 hours painting on 12/4; 4 hours bringing supplies, 4 hours painting on 12/11)
  3. Henry Shen: 16 hours total (8 hours on 12/4 and 8 hours on 12/11)
  4. Alex Naehu: 8 hours total (8 hours on 12/11)
  5. Timothy Lee: 8 hours total (8 hours on 12/11)
  6. Mark Lin: 5 hours total (5 hours on 12/11)
  7. Ransom Liu: 5 hours total (4 hours on 12/4 and 1 hour on 12/11)
