Albany Branch helps out with the Jamming For JP Event (09/26/21)

On September 26th, 2021 the Albany Branch helped run the carnival event, which was a fundraiser for Niemann Pick Type C (NPC) Research and the Melodies Center of Albany Medical Center. NPC is a rare neurodegenerative disease also known as childhood Alzheimer’s. While there is not yet a specific treatment or cure for NPC, there are supportive therapies available. This event helped to raise funds to keep research going on this disease. Albany members helped to set up, run the games/activities at the carnival booths, and cleaned up. The event was very fun for our members!
