Chapel Hill Branch Volunteered at Local Children’s Halloween Party on Oct. 15, 2021

On October 15th, 2021, the Chapel Hill branch of AYLUS volunteered at a children’s Halloween party at a local children’s museum named Kidzu. There, the volunteers participated in a variety of stations, including a watercolor painting activity, a pumpkin craft, an elephant toothpaste experiment and a skeleton-hand project. The volunteers not only helped guide the children through the process of the craft, but they also interacted and conversed with the children. On a cool October evening with Halloween just around the corner, the volunteers had a fabulous time helping out, reminiscing about when they were the children themselves.

Participants: Ethan Li (2 hours), Aneesh Patkar (2 hours), Nicholas Wang (2.25 hours), Luna Chen (2 hours), Kevin Chen (2 hours), Alyssa Yuan (2 hours), Michelle Lan (2 hours), Andrew Xu (2 hours).
