On September 24 and 25, AYLUS Pearland members volunteered at the Ruff Runner & Yappy Hour event in Independence Park, Pearland. The all-aged event invited marathon runners, along with their four-legged friends, to run the 1k, 3k, and 5k.
On Friday, September 24 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, volunteers worked at Runner ‘Pre’ Packed pick-up. On Saturday September 25, AYLUS volunteers helped with the event from 6:30 to 9:30 AM, job included helping vendor check-in, passing out water, running the registration stands, cheering for the runners, distributing medals, and more.
Overall, the event was a success. AYLUS volunteers received a very positive feedback from event organizer.
