AYLUS Rancho Santa Margarita Members Wrote Thank You Cards to Healthcare Workers and Donated in September 2021

AYLUS Rancho Santa Margarita members write Thank You cards to healthcare workers at Quest Diagnostics on September 6, 2021. As the new delta variant sweeps across the United States, healthcare facilities are working overtime to accommodate the influx of additional COVID patients while providing the same standard of care to non-COVID patients with shortages in ICU and medical supplies. AYLUS Rancho Santa Margarita recognizes the incomprehensible sacrifices that healthcare workers have made since the beginning of this pandemic and wishes to thank them for all their hard work and efforts in providing medical services to all.

The members got together to write Thank You cards for the workers. They were sorted into groups and given a list of medical professionals’ names to address the cards. Moreover, the members also donated clothes to Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps.

This activity was particularly poignant because we wanted the healthcare workers to know that they are thanked and appreciated. It was also meaningful for the chapter members to participate and serve directly to the community as it creates a sense of camaraderie and solidarity.
