Sugar Land Branch Maintains Park Garden #42

On September 11, the Sugar Land Branch continued its butterfly garden maintenance project at the Memorial Park Butterfly Garden. Members focused on weed pulling and plant watering. In some areas, particularly near the taller flowers, fast-growing weeds had sprouted alongside the plants and were using their resources, causing them to become dehydrated. As a result, members pulled these weeds to give the flowers room to grow. Also, to combat extensive transpiration in the hot Texas climate, members watered the flowers extensively using a bucket.

The participating members were Runyan Zhou, Jason Yen, Aidan Pulmano, Emma Jiang, and Albon Wu.
