Palm Beach AYLUS Sends Letters to Frontline Workers at a Local Hospital in May 2021

In May 2021 the Palm Beach AYLUS branch created handwritten letters for local frontline workers.

The project’s goal was to show appreciation for local first responders.

After collecting everyone’s handmade letters, the branch mailed them to the Delray Medical Center, providing (in terms of volunteer hours) one hour for two completed letters. Included with designs, drawings, and encouraging paragraphs, the letters were first checked through photos to ensure each message was unique, then gathered and sent out to be received by frontline workers.

Participants: Claire Zhao – 2 hours

Carina Wang – 2 hours

Joanna Deng – 1 hour

Alyssa Jin – 1 hour

Jessica Wan – 1 hour

Karen Zhao – 1 hour
