Irvine Branch Creates and Delivers Cheerful Cards and Crafts to Firefighters on November 1, 2020

This week, members of the Irvine branch of AYLUS worked on and prepared encouraging letters and crafts to local firefighters.

Wildfire activity in California has been running rampant in many areas. Most recently, the Silverado Fire (just in Irvine, CA!) forced almost 100,000 people to evacuate the city. It severely injured 2 firefighters, putting them in intensive care. Thus, we felt that we had a moral obligation to show some appreciation for these brave men and women, risking their lives to make sure we are safe. They are among the most influential sentries of our community.

Our cards and crafts are designed to cheer them up and make them aware of how awesome they are.

Following safety and social distancing guidelines, we compiled, reviewed, and delivered these tokens of appreciations to the local firefighters station.
