AYLUS Cascade Branch Organizes Food Lifeline Food Drive 9/30 – 10/18 and Delivers on 10/19

From September 30th – October 18th, AYLUS Cascade Branch organized a canned food drive for Food Lifeline. A gofundme was set up by Nuoyan Z and Lucy K from 9/30 and they managed to raise $130 and buy lots of canned food from the money raised.

Neighbors donated food through pickups and a food drop-off organized by Nuoyan from 3-6PM, October 16th – 18th.

Together, they were able to donate 3 trolleys full of oatmeal, chips, crackers, peanut butter, pasta, instant noodles, and other canned items. (This was enough to fill one SUV trunk full of food, around 250-500 lbs of food donated). We were unable to get the final weight.

Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed!

Hours for Lucy K – 1.5 hours for raising donations. Total hours 1.5. Hours for Nuoyan Z – 9 hours for food drop-offs, 2 hours for food donation pickups, 2 hours for packaging and delivery. Total hours 13.
