Marlboro Branch Launches Its First MCVSD Seminar on September 29, 2020

On Tuesday, September 29th, 2020, the Marlboro Branch launched its first MCVSD seminar. MCVSD stands for “Monmouth County Vocational School District” and makes up 5 prestigious vocational high schools in Monmouth County, NJ. These schools have a fiercely competitive application process and are notoriously difficult to get into. Many of Marlboro AYLUS’s members are students at these schools and wanted to take the opportunity to pass the knowledge onto middle schoolers who will be taking the entrance exam soon. In this seminar, the members discussed test-taking strategies, what sorts of problems to look out for, study material, and more. They also answered a plethora of questions the students had. Marlboro AYLUS received lots of positive feedback from the students, who praised the seminar and called it “very helpful” and “informative.”
