On February 15th and 16th, the AYLUS Birmingham Branch volunteered at the Mercedes Marathon in Birmingham, AL. Our volunteers were present at the 5K, Full Marathon, and Half Marathon. Many volunteers woke up bright and early to cut fruit for all the runners. Other volunteers served as backup timers at the finish line. Some of the volunteers even got to hand out medals to all of the runners once they crossed the finish line.
