Greater Princeton AYLUS Promoted Traditional Culture (27th) with Newspaper “Junior Reporter Times” etc. on July 3, 2019

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) continued its 27th “Culture Promotion” event on July 3, 2019. The Junior Reporters authored articles, while Art Editors made layouts and art illustrations for the newspaper “Junior Reporter Times”, etc.

July 3, 2019 offers 8 pages of interesting articles on a variety of topics written by over 20 Junior Reports. On page A1 and A2, GPA Junior Reporters Ming Li and Rebecca Yuan both spent 3 hours telling people what they created at the “I Heart Children” Art Contest in New Jersey on June 1, 2019. On pages A2 and A5, Rebecca created art illustrations for articles. The article introduced a traditional holiday in China, Duan Wu, which has a history of 2000+ years!

GPA Art Editors Caroline Shen spent 4 hours presenting two creative pages of layout A1 and A2; Catherine Feng spent her 4 hours putting together two nice pages of layout A3 and A4; while Art Editor-In-Chief, Cassie Tammy Wang, spent 4 hours to have all 8 pages reviewed and revised, ensuring they were attractive to the readers and typo free.

Besides Junior Reporter Times, Cassie authored three articles on newspaper China Star Times (Page 1&3), Chinese News Weekly (page 5), and Global Chinese Times (A9), while GPA Junior Reporter Elizabeth Yunjue Li authored an article (3 hours) on newspaper ChinaPress Weekly NJ (A3), sharing the Benefit Music Performance event that GPA had hosted for Ms. Su on June 29, 2019.
