AYLUS Pearland volunteered with Pearland Parks and Recreation on Sep 29th in Pearland’s Annual Tri-a-little-thon, an event simulating a triathlon. From 7:30 to 9:30, AYLUS members from points, timed runners, and helped clean up around the facility, all in the rain.
On the stormy day, the 16 volunteers who participated helping out moved bikes through the course, helped set the runners up, timed runners, and facilitated the event, in coordination with Pearland Parks and Recreation. Even though it was raining throughout the entire event, volunteers helped tremendously, making the event a success.
