Chapel Hill Branch Played Chess at Senior Living Center on April 28, 2018

On April 28, 2018, the members of AYLUS decided to try something different than their usual musical performance. After hearing about how there were a couple of seniors that had a passion in chess, Nicholas, Peter and Mark decided to go. Everyone had a great time and the competition was fierce. Chess strategies such as castling and the fried liver were played. There were also many adoring spectators that watched as the time went on. One of the seniors even remarked that Nicholas’s hair was “So cute!”. The AYLUS branch of Chapel Hill will definitely look into other various forms of entertaining the seniors such as chess in the future.
