Save a Life: Defeat COVID-19 (May/June 2020)

We have donated 1,000 KN95 masks and 2,000 disposable 3PLY masks to various senior facilities and hospitals in and around our community.

Meals on Wheels (Ongoing)

Started on January 4th, 2019, a group of students went to help Tri-county for Aging pack food for the Meal on Wheels program. The students ended up packing over 900 bags of food on the first day.

Adopt a Family (Ongoing)

Started on December, 2018, a small group of students went out to help other families in need over Christmas break. We provide families with their wish-list items and Christmas meals for Christmas through the VOA Adopt a Family program.

Soup Kitchen (Ongoing)

Started in August 2018. This is an ongoing project with our nearby soup kitchens. Students serve and cook meals for the homeless.

The Life Story Project (Ongoing)

Started in August 2018, we talk to and interview elders residing in nursing homes to collect their life stories. We record their stories and create a short story or slideshow for their family and friends.
