On September 7th, 2020, four students from Bergen County in New Jersey founded the eighty-first branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Bergen, NJ.

Description of the Bergen Branch
The Bergen Branch of AYLUS strives to improve both the neighborhoods in Bergen County and the surrounding urban areas and to make a difference in those communities and their people. Based in the suburbs of New Jersey across from New York City, the goal of our branch, is to make a positive impact on the communities by improving the surrounding environments, promoting community service events and helping those who are less fortunate. We aim to better the quality of life for the people in the communities while inspiring and developing leadership skills among our members. We hope that our members will foster and develop key skills and characteristics through their experiences as a part of this branch and implement those skills in their futures. It is a great opportunity to be involved with such a group like an AYLUS branch like this one, as the experiences may open new doors to things such as career paths or new interests for its members. Through hard work and integrity, we believe that will be successful in making the communities a happier and better place. The Bergen Branch welcomes any students who are interested in making a positive difference in the world.
