On Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM, the AYLUS Lake Washington Branch participated in the 2026 Seattle Asian Cultural Gala, an event showcasing Asian American culture and festivities. The event featured food, dance, and games, organized by local Asian nonprofit organizations.
Our team managed an AYLUS information booth, attracting a list of new high school volunteers and informing interested parents on the organization and Wechat group. Volunteers also helped manage a game station featuring ring throws for prizes and entertainment. AYLUS members partook in a variety of volunteering activities, communicating with on site staff to set up tables, chairs, and other supplies. This event offered a great opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity and share the richness of traditional Chinese culture with the community.
