On August 29 2026, the Space Coast, Florida AYLUS branch hosted a Cancer Awareness 5K run/walk. The race was highly successful with almost 100 people signing up and helping to raise $2,500. Lots of people donated, with donations ranging from $5 to $50. Many people were able to learn about the dangers of cancer and how it can separate loved ones through the beginning speech.
