On August 29 2026, the Space Coast, Florida AYLUS branch hosted a Cancer Awareness 5K run/walk. The race was highly successful with almost 100 people signing up and helping to raise $2,000. Lots of people donated, with donations ranging from $5 to $50. Many people were able to learn about the dangers of cancer and how it can separate loved ones through the beginning speech. AYLUS Space Coast donated all of the proceedings to Live Inspired Brevard, a local non-profit organization dedicated to Cancer Prevention and Education.
