AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at ALFC Generosity Center on 10/17/26

On October 17, 2026, volunteers from the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch spent the morning serving their local community at the ALFC Generosity Center in Rancho Cucamonga. The event focused on helping the center prepare food supplies for households in need. From 7:20 AM to 1:00 PM, volunteers assisted with various duties, with each participant completing 5.5 hours of community service.

Throughout the morning, volunteers helped manage donated groceries and prepare them for distribution. They sorted fruits and vegetables, arranged canned goods and other food products, and packed grocery bundles that would be provided to local families. By completing these tasks, they helped keep the center’s food distribution process organized and ensured that supplies were ready for collection.

In addition to completing their assigned work, volunteers learned how important preparation and coordination are to successful community assistance programs. Each task contributed to the larger effort, allowing volunteers to see how individual contributions can support the work of a nonprofit organization.

Participating in this event also gave the volunteers a chance to reflect on food insecurity and the difficulties some households face when obtaining everyday necessities. Their involvement helped them develop a stronger appreciation for community resources and the people who work to make them available.

The October service event reflects the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch’s continued involvement in local outreach. By dedicating their time to preparing and organizing food donations, the volunteers helped support families in their community while demonstrating the importance of responsibility, cooperation, and public service.
