On August 22, 2026, members of the AYLUS Glen Head Branch visited the local library to participate in a community volunteer service activity. The volunteers worked together to support the library and assist with preparing materials and activities for the community. Everyone was enthusiastic about contributing their time and making a positive impact.
During the volunteer session, members completed a variety of tasks, including preparing and organizing bedazzling craft kits for children and arranging books on the library shelves. They carefully sorted and organized materials to ensure that the library resources were neat, accessible, and ready for visitors. The volunteers also assisted with additional tasks as requested by the library staff.
This volunteer experience provided AYLUS Glen Head members with a valuable opportunity to serve the local community while strengthening their teamwork, responsibility, and organizational skills. Through their time and effort, the volunteers helped create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for children and families.
