On the morning of July 17 at 11:00 AM, AYLUS Morris Branch partnered with Green Village Church to support local families in need through a household cleaning supplies donation drive. Thanks to the generosity of our members and community supporters, we collected over 30 bottles of essential cleaning products, including laundry detergent, disinfectants, and other household cleaning supplies.
After collecting the donations, AYLUS volunteers delivered the items to Green Village Church, where they were received by the church’s outreach team. These supplies will be distributed to local families who need assistance with essential household necessities. While food donations often receive the most attention, basic cleaning products are also important items that many families struggle to afford and are rarely covered by food assistance programs.
The church director expressed sincere appreciation for the donation and thanked AYLUS Morris Branch for its continued support of the community. The director shared that these cleaning supplies will make a meaningful difference and will certainly help families in need maintain safe, clean, and healthy living environments.
This service project gave our volunteers another opportunity to see how small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. By working together with community partners, AYLUS members learned the importance of identifying everyday needs and responding with practical support. Every donated bottle represents the generosity of our volunteers and donors and reflects our shared commitment to serving others.
AYLUS Morris Branch is grateful to Green Village Church for its partnership and for the opportunity to contribute to this important outreach effort. We also thank every member and family who donated supplies and volunteered their time to make this event a success.
As we continue our mission of youth leadership and community service, AYLUS Morris Branch looks forward to organizing more projects that address local needs, strengthen community partnerships, and inspire others to make a positive difference through volunteerism.
