Chapel Hill Branch Donates Handcrafted Pillows and Origamis to NC Basnight Cancer Hospital on June 21st, 2026

On June 21st, 2026, volunteers from AYLUS Chapel Hill visited the N.C. Basnight Cancer Hospital to deliver a thoughtfully prepared donation. The team presented handcrafted origami decorations alongside soft, heart-shaped pillows, each designed to symbolize encouragement and resilience. Hospital staff warmly received the gifts and expressed their appreciation.

As a youth-led service organization, AYLUS–Chapel Hill is dedicated to supporting patients and their families through meaningful acts of care. These handmade items aim to brighten hospital spaces, provide comfort during challenging times, and serve as reminders of a caring community. The branch remains committed to continuing service initiatives that promote compassion and hope.
