AYLUS Great Neck Branch Volunteers play Sports with Kids at Firefighter’s Park 64th (6/19/26)
Friday, June 19th, 3 volunteers came to Firefighter park to play sports with kids. Jack, our primary mentee, isn’t here today so the volunteers played a variety of sports with kids in the park. It was a sunny, yet windy day, most of the sports equipment I brought was unsuitable for this weather. Cody and Yucheng pushed kids in their swings, while Amber played badminton for a bit and talked with others sitting in the shade. The volunteers all had a delightful time playing sports and socializing with kids and shared a meaningful experience.
