The AYLUS Dix Hills Branch volunteers at Creek Park to help clean up the hiking trails. As a continuation of previous work here, volunteers already knew what they had to do. Volunteers brought along trash bags, trash grabbers and gloves as they hiked along the trails, and cleaned up the area without disturbing the natural environment there. While walking along the mile long trail, various items were found, including water bottles, glass, plastic, cans, and other types of litter. Volunteers worked from 5:00 to 6:30 to help get rid of trash scattered around.
