On Nov 12th, the Sugar Land Branch continued working on the garden maintenance project at the Memorial Park Butterfly Garden in collaboration with the City of Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Department. In some areas, particularly near the taller flowers, fast-growing weeds had sprouted alongside the plants and were using their resources, causing them to become dehydrated. As a result, the volunteers pulled these weeds to give the flowers room to grow.
