This month was a very enjoyable month. We had 5 new members join and we were able to invite them to do the tournament despite how new they are. We had a new debate topic for the tournament, which is “Parents should take parenting classes before having a child” and we are currently deciding the winner. After the final round, the members played Mad Lips together and had a lot of fun!
Our next debate topic will be “Can online class replace regular in-person class?”
The meeting dates for this unit were on 6/30 (2hr), 7/7 (2hr), 7/14 (2hr), 7/19 (1-hour orientation for new students), 7/21 (1.5hr), and 7/28 (1.5hr).
