Greater Princeton AYLUS Concluded Tutoring Abroad Students amid COVID-19 Pandemic on July 4, 2020

During the course of this program, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) members have greatly enjoyed tutoring abroad students, and helping them with their English. It is important to remember that any help is a big act of kindness especially during this time. Whether it is reading books, learning new words, or having a basic conversation, helping other students learn English during this time is a great way to show kindness.

Spreading positivity is what GPA members are striving to do, and they have made a special connection with the students they are helping during this tough time. Ever since the beginning of the program, the students always enjoy class and reading or singing along to classic songs in English. Each week, both the GPA members and the students look forward to and enjoy the teaching and learning time together. This is a wrap up of this program, however they will still continue tutoring and having conversations with their students.

Participants: Amber Yu (6/20 & 7/4; 1.5 hr each), Sarah Yan (6/12 & 6/19, 1.5 hr each).
