East Cobb Branch Held an Online English Tutoring Session II on week of May 25, 2020

On May 25, 2020 and May 28, 2020, Stanley Lu from the East Cobb Branch participated in the English Tutoring Program and tutored for 2 hours.

This program’s goal is to provide English guidance to the elderly who do not know much English. Volunteers are needed for 1 on 1 tutoring sessions. By helping these elderly improve their English, the goal is to make communication smoother and life easier for them.

They worked with Suzey on her English pronunciation and understanding. They worked with an English textbook in order to teach her English. Suzey learned about personalities and jobs and she did various exercises after reading the passage. Suzey had many questions about various English rules and pronunciations and all the questions were answered. She had a much greater understanding of English just after these two lessons.
