On July 17th, 2020, three students from Basis Scottsdale and Desert Mountain High School of Arizona founded the seventy-fourth branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Scottsdale, AZ.

Description of the Scottsdale Branch
The Scottsdale Branch of the Alliance of Youth in the United States is a non-profit student-run organization that focuses on creating new leaders, helping new innovators, and improving the environment for people living in communities, especially seniors. This branch is committed to serving the entire Scottsdale community with kindness, leadership, and determination. While we share the same motto as all other AYLUS communities, such as innovation and integrity, we also strive to promote humbleness, dedication, and friendship. We can reach the goal of promoting these concepts by creating various activities that involve in-person interactions as well as online virtual interactions. This includes volunteer opportunities such as Feed My Starving Children, fundraisers, etc. By dedicating ourselves to the community, we learn to grow as a team as well as meet the AYLUS motto’s principles. If you are a student in the city of Scottsdale, we encourage you to join this AYLUS branch so as a group, we can help our members reach their full potential in personal growth and benefit our community at the same time.
