The very first event by AYLUS Scottsdale was a snack donation to Hospice of the Valley – Eckstein Center. To prepare for the event, Shaw Hu contacted the Eckstein Center staff to find out the donation details including letting the members fill the photo release form. Shaw Hu coordinated the event. To obtain the best quality snacks to donate, all members who participated went to multiple stores to find them. Many members also wrote thank-you cards to further show appreciation to the staff members’ hard work in taking care of hospice patients during the pandemic.
