On October 9th, AYLUS Scottsdale gardened at Tovrea Castle. AYLUS members pulled weeds, cut bushes, and raked branches in areas around Tovrea Castle. This event spanned for several hours where members were able to do garden work and see Tovrea Castle up close. At the event, all members wore masks to ensure safety during this pandemic. This event took weeks in advance to prepare by emailing the coordinators at Tovrea Castle and organizing the best time for our members. People who attended were Bridget Chen(event coordinator)- 4.5 hrs, Andrew Yang-4 hrs, Shaw Hu-4 hrs, Alex Zou-4 hrs, Laura Wang-4 hrs, Logan Zhao-4 hrs, David Sun-4 hrs, Andrew Zhang-4 hrs, and Jessie Zhang-4 hrs.
