On March 20, 2021, AYLUS Scottsdale participated in the STOP ASIAN HATE Rally to show their support in the Asian community. The rally was to advocate for an end to racism and violence against Asian Americans. With the increase of hate crimes towards Asian Americans, the rally allowed for many Asian American voices to be heard as participants carried around signs such as “Stop Asian Hate” and “Racists do not deserve boba”. This rally occurred at Chandler City Hall and was one of the many rallies that occurred in response to the Atlanta shooting of 6 Asian women who were working at massage and spa parlors. Members who participated in this event were: Bridget Chen (2.5), Laura Wang(2.5), Alex Zou(2.5), Andrew Yang (2.5), Leona Wang (2.5)
