On Saturday, December 4th, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) members Divya Raizada and her friends hosted a seminar for high school students, mainly targeting freshman and sophomores, and discussing how to approach midterms. In addition, They talked about preparation for AP exams and informed them about getting involved with their school.
Greater Princeton AYLUS School Seminar
What occurred during the seminar (11/30, 2 hrs; 12/3, 2 hrs; 12/4, 2 hrs) was that GPA volunteers first went through the slideshow they prepared. Throughout the seminar, some people asked questions verbally while others sent it to the hosts through the chat. Although they had a separate time allotted for the Q&A portion of the presentation, GPA volunteers answered the questions as they came. They used personal anecdotes as examples for preparing for midterms and AP exams. In addition, GPA volunteers told them how they could find volunteering opportunities (with AYLUS, of course, and more)!
