From July 22nd to July 31st, AYLUS Scottsdale made bookmarks in preparation for a donation to the Boys and Girls Club. The purpose of this event was to encourage young kids to read more. For this event, members were required to purchase a laminator machine, paper cutter board, cardstock paper, and other additional supplies. In order to maintain the high quality of the bookmarks, a laminator machine was required to protect printed documents. Cardstock paper was used to ensure that the quality of paper was thick enough. A paper cutter board was required in order to evenly cut the bookmarks. Members that participated are: Andrew Yang (5 hrs), William Chu (2.5 hrs), Laura Wang (5 hrs), Bridget Chen (5 hrs), Logan Zhao (3 hrs), Leona Wang (5 hrs), Shaw hu (5 hrs), and David Sun (5 hrs).
