Event description: On the morning of Saturday, July 17, 2021, members of the Saratoga AYLUS branch volunteered to clean up Easterbrook Discovery School’s fields. Our goals included finding a way to help the environment and to improve the cleanliness of public use spaces. Walking through the fields, volunteers collected around 4 1/2 bags’ worth of trash, including things from empty cans to discarded articles of clothing and food wrappers. At the end of the event, the collected items were disposed of safely.
