On May 29, 2021, the Irvine branch of AYLUS hosted the second of its new teaching class to help Chinese and foreign students learn English. Volunteers Brian and Olivia helped kids become more proficient at the English language.
Throughout the class, we covered multiple topics in English grammar that would slowly introduce the kids to the new language. The photos below show some activities that we walked through the students with. At the end of our lesson, we asked students to create sentences and paragraphs using the ideas we learned and many were much more confident in their speaking and writing skills than they were before. We hope to continue spreading education into different communities through teaching!
