Phoenix Branch’s new Health Committee (started by Steven Zeng) will be hosting a seminar on September 4, 2020 with guest speaker Alexa Bailey, who works at Evolve Counseling and Behavior Health Services. Her specialties include treating patients with depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and she treats people of all ages from children to the elderly. In this virtual seminar, she will discuss her personal experiences with this field and answer questions such as why she chose a career as a therapist. After that, she will progress into talking about the importance of maintaining a positive mental health and just the misconceptions that many people have about mental health. At the end, she will be open to answer any questions that parents and students have.
