Greater Princeton AYLUS Continued “Cultural Exchange Program” (35th) with Newspaper “The China Press Junior Reporter Times” on November 6, 2019

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) continued its 35th “Cultural Exchange Program” on November 6, 2019. GPA Junior Reporters authored articles, while Art Editors made layouts and art illustrations for the Newspaper “The China Press Junior Reporter Times”. The 35th Issue offers 9 pages of interesting articles on a variety of topics written by over 20 Junior Reporters. 

GPA Art Editors Jasmine Qu spent 4 hours to create layouts for two pages A1 and A8; Danielle Wang spent 4 hours to create layout for two pages A2 and A3; Meryl Li spent 2 hours to create layout for page A4; while Catherine Feng spent 6 hours to create layout for three pages A5, A6, and A7. 

GPA member Elizabeth Yunjue Li is New Jersey’s District Editor, who spent 2 hours to collect and edit articles for the current issue. On page A1, GPA Junior Reporters Catherine Feng spent 3 hours to author an article on her recent travel to a lake in YunNan, China. On page A5, Tiffany Tian spent 3 hours to share us how lucky she is to have a grandfather caring for her that much. On page A8, Gina Shen spent 3 hours to author an article recalling her experience hosting a lemonade sale for Ms Su Wei in the first GPA fundraiser event back in June 2019.

Besides articles published in the China Press Junior Reporter Times, Cassie Tammy Wang spent 3 hours to author two articles in two local newspapers to promote GPA’s “Humanitarian Care” project. On November 2, 2019, GPA performed “Music From the Heart” event at the Veteran’s Memorial Home. A big success for the second time!
