AYLUS Manhasset prepares community garden and helps Clark Botanic Garden with collecting tulip bulbs.

On May 17th, we volunteered at the community garden at Clark Botanical Garden to remove post-bloom tulips and collect the bulbs to save them for future use. We uprooted all the tulip bulbs with care and removed them from their stems. We then ensured that the soil was prepared for future planting that there were no unwanted weeds in the gardening beds. We hope to promote environmental consciousness and plant produce and flowers for the season.
