On May 10th, starting in the morning, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) members helped set up the Princeton 5K Run/Walk event, volunteering at water stations, working at the finish line, and cleaning up the site after the event.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is a way to honor the contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, learn about AAPI history and cultures, and amplify AAPI voices.
GPA leaders communicated with the event volunteer director and planned this event.

After the 5K activities: Join us to celebrate AAPI Heritage! Enjoy the traditional music and folk dancing. Visit the on-site Chinese American History exhibition provided MOCA and pay tribute to the generations of Asian and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America’s history and are instrumental in its future success.
