AYLUS Great Neck played sports with kids on May 2nd, 2025（30th)
On Friday, AYLUS volunteers had an activity at Firefighters Park where we played with kids. We
organized two games for them: tag and ping pong. The kids really enjoyed the tag game- it was
their favorite. During the activity, we met a challenge where kids were shy to play with
us,because it was their first time meeting us. However, after giving them time to adjust ,we were
all able to play and had fun together. From this experience, we learned to be patient, especially
when the kids were not familiar with us. It was also a meaningful activity for the volunteers.
Nowadays, many of us spend a lot of time sitting and studying with IPads, which is harmful for
our health. This outdoor event reminded us that standing up and exercising can help improve
our physical health and boost our immunity. It also made us feel more relaxed. Both the
volunteers and kids had a pleasant time.
